Paragliding is not just a sport; it's an exhilarating experience that connects individuals with the beauty of nature like no other. However, finding reliable services such as tandem pilots, paragliding schools, tour operators, and equipment sellers can be challenging for enthusiasts, especially those new to the sport. "ParaPortal" aims to bridge this gap by providing a comprehensive platform that links enthusiasts with service providers seamlessly.

 

Objectives

  • Centralized Hub: Create a one-stop platform where paragliding enthusiasts can discover and connect with various service providers effortlessly.

  • Enhanced Accessibility: Facilitate easy access to tandem pilots, paragliding schools, tour operators, and equipment sellers globally, irrespective of geographical boundaries.

  • Community Building: Foster a vibrant online community of paragliding enthusiasts, encouraging knowledge sharing, discussions, and networking opportunities.

This will be a difficult task, as we would need a centralised calendar that integrates to each participating affiliate. I suggest you sell the gift vouchers (digitally). The user will need to arrange the booking directly with the vendor.;

NOTE:

 

This is setup, you need to give some thought to the description and initial content for posting. Each user can follow other users of their choice, similar to FaceBook. This will need to be a regular activity, add info the the groups is a great way to encourage discussion and interaction.

Having spent some time looking into the paragliding industry in Switzerland and your prospective objectives to generate revenue streams, I have some suggestions for you to consider:

 

  •  Affiliate marketing: as mentioned above, this can create a steady annuity based income stream which is ultimately generated via the social platforms. This is a slow burn process which will require a long term investment. The upside to this model is that it is exponentially scalable. Commission rates are determined by the business offering the affiliate program, these vary from 5% through to 10%.

  • We will need to add an affiliate extension to the website. This will allow members, followers and users the option to join ParaPotal Affiliate program. ParaPortal in turn will pay the affiliate partner commissions generated via their social interaction. They will have their unique dashboard to monitor all their sales generated via the Paraportal website.

  • Make use of all adventure related offerings; skiing, hiking, boating, helicopter flips etc.

  • Direct marketing, selling physical products, apparel is one of the biggest revenue spinners. In this link I have included a Swiss based apparel company that has an existing affiliate program this could prove to be of benefit to the business.

  • Acquire your own products which can be sold through the website, the upside to this is the increased margins or profits.

Create a ParaPortal sales page in Amazon and recommend products. These links can be setup in the ParaPortal website under products. They will directly reference Amazon. An interesting fact, if a user clicks through to Amazon but does not buy any products. If they return within 24 hours adn buy any product on Amazon, you get paid!

Content creation is an imperative, without fresh regular content the game is over. You need to commit to posting a video a week every week (YouTube). LIkewise for all social media platforms, content must be published on a regular basis.
